Dance Center Evanston

Cecchetti is a method of teaching ballet in which select students learn a set ballet syllabus and, when ready, present their work before a panel of examiners. Participation in the Cecchetti program is by invitation only, and all Cecchetti students are required to take non-syllabus classes as well.

Dancers must be recommended by Dance Center Evanston to enroll in Cecchetti 5 & 5/6. For Ballet 2A through Ballet 5, Cecchetti qualifies as one of the required ballet classes.

Female Dancers: Black (simple style) leotard with pink tights, ballet shoes and pointe shoes. Male Dancers: Close-fitting white t-shirt with black shorts or pants, black socks, and black ballet shoes.
